Direct Buy, Fill&Buy and forwarding exist to bring those sources into one QC, consolidation and dispatch workflow, while MegaShip extends the same warehouse process to eligible DDP sea-freight consignments of up to 3 tons. Because of that, the useful question is not simply whether the agent fee is zero. It is which route controls the purchase, which charges appear at each handoff, and what the buyer must review before a parcel leaves. The platform advertises a 0% agent fee, basic QC photos, 90 days of free storage and a published exchange rate, and its own materials treat inspection, consolidation and international delivery as separate decisions. Warehouse arrival is a decision, not a waiting room

Review the photos promptly instead of treating the 90-day free-storage period as extra quality assurance. Choose a shipping architecture, not just the cheapest line

Ordinary lines suit typical consumer hauls and should be compared on chargeable weight, restrictions, tax treatment, compensation and live estimates. MegaShip is a separate DDP sea-freight case for eligible oversized consignments up to 3 tons to the EU, United States, United Kingdom and Canada. A lower per-kilogram headline does not make sea freight suitable on its own: verify minimums, destination coverage, item restrictions, handling needs and the final quote in the parcel screen.

Follow one cost trail from CNY to USD

Record the source price and the agent total as separate fields. On 2026-09-19 the supplied Weidian item showed CNY 860 on iTaobuy against US$151.29, or 5.6844 CNY per US$1. The same preview added CNY 15 domestic shipping (US$2.64) for a US$153.93 order total, with international freight excluded. That is a dated snapshot, not a fixed rate. Re-run the calculation for the real order and note the date, currency, domestic charges, optional services and international shipping separately.

Work an iTaobuy order in two passes. The first is link research: classify each source, compare the original listing with the agent page, and drop rows that no longer resolve cleanly. The second is transaction control: record the live conversion, review warehouse evidence promptly, and choose a shipping structure that fits the parcel rather than the promotion headline. Keep the source price in CNY and the agent price in USD as separate records so the real cost of the route stays visible.

  1. Sort each item into the right route

    Use Direct Buy when iTaobuy parses a supported marketplace listing correctly. Use Fill&Buy when a Yupoo album, Xianyu offer or private seller needs manual instructions. Use forwarding only when you buy the goods yourself and need the warehouse to receive and consolidate them.

  2. Compare the source page with the parsed page

    Keep the original listing open beside iTaobuy and check seller, item identity, version, size or colour, quantity, CNY price and domestic freight. If details disappear during parsing, correct the route instead of assuming the agent page is complete.

  3. Write down the full pre-warehouse cost

    Record the source CNY price, the displayed USD price, domestic delivery and any optional service. Inspect the payment channel's actual amount separately, and apply coupon thresholds only after the parcel route is known.

  4. Turn QC photos into a decision

    Review warehouse images as soon as they appear. Accept when visible details match the order, ask for clarification when photos are inconclusive, and request a return while seller rules still allow it. Free storage is a consolidation window, not an extended QC deadline.

  5. Build the parcel around the goods

    For a normal haul, compare live lines by chargeable weight, restrictions, tax treatment and compensation. For an eligible oversized load, price MegaShip separately and confirm its DDP coverage, minimums and handling rules. Apply a route-compatible coupon last, then submit.
