Priya Raman

Priya handles every garment, shoe and textile that reaches the Rotterdam bench. She spent four years in a garment testing laboratory running shrinkage, colourfastness and seam-strength protocols before joining the desk in 2022. She measures flat on the bench rather than on a form, because a size chart is only useful if you know which measurement it refers to. She writes the sizing notes and the wash-test results, and she keeps a running table of which listings understate or overstate their fabric blend.
